- Wash, remove the stalks and cut the figs into pieces.
- Combine water, sugar and lemon juice in a bowl and bring to boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the figs and leave to simmer for 35 minutes.
- Wash and sterilize the jars.
- Pour your jam into the jars. Close the lid and turn the jars round to get rid of air for better conservation.
