✪ Boiled Zucchini cooking time

  • Cooking time: 15 minutes
  • Method: First wash the zucchini in cold water. Pour the zucchinis in a pan of hot salted water (the water must already be at boiling point). You may use peeled zucchinis, halved zucchinis or zucchini cut in cubes. Drain the zucchini well after cooking.

Why should zucchini be boiled? It is the fastest cooking method, it can be used in cold preparations (salads) or in zucchini purées and soups. Zucchini cooking water is an excellent source of nutrients, don’t throw it away! Drink it to boost your body and mind.

✪ Steamed zucchini cooking time

  • Cooking Time: 10 minutes
  • Method: Cut the zucchini cm slices and place into the steamer basket.

Why steaming? Steaming makes it possible to preserve the nutritional and gustatory quality of your vegetables by gently cooking them, it does not require the addition of fat. We opt for steamed zucchinis for a healthy cuisine!

✪ Sauteed zucchini cooking Time

  • Cooking Time: 8 to 10 minutes
  • Method: Cut into slices or lengthwise sticks, cook with a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.

Why opt to fry or saute zucchini in a pan? Cooking zucchini in a frying pan is ideal to make zucchini fritters, zucchini chips and stir-fried zucchini served with marinara sauce. The addition of fat makes the zucchini more tasty and adds an awesome crispiness. Sautéed zucchini is the ideal cooking method for those who want to make a good ratatouille recipe or a frittata. For melt in the mouth zucchinis extend the cooking time by a few minutes.
