Ingredients
- puff pastry roll
- 2
- Amandes émondées
- 200 grams
- Powdered sugar
- 150 grams
- Egg
- 2
- Butter
- 100 grams
- Rum
- 2 teaspoons
Pâte
Crème d'amandes
- Mix in a bowl the almond powder, sugar, eggs, softened butter and finally rum.
- Preheat the oven to 210°C.
- Pour the almond cream on top of the dough, leaving a 2cm edge, and place the bean(s) on top.
- Brush a little water over this edge, then put the second roll of dough on and apply both edges well, pressing with a fork to weld them well.
- Draw streaks, rhombuses or rosettes on top of the cake and brush the whole thing golden with the egg yolk and water mixture
- Make a few small holes to let the air escape during cooking and then put the cake in the oven for a cooking time of about 25 minutes.
- This pie can be enjoyed hot or cold.
