The planter’s punch is obviously the iconic Caribbean cocktail but everyone can modify the original recipe with or without alcohol and with various fruit juices. The main rule is to let it macerate at least 12 hours in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Metric US
white rum
5 Decilitres
pineapple-juice
5 Decilitres
pineapple juice
5 Decilitres
orange juice
5 Decilitres
vanilla pod

cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon
cane syrup
5 centiliters
lime

  1. Mix in a large container (salad bowl, jar,etc...) rum, cane syrup and fruit juice.
  2. Add a vanilla bean and cinnamon.
  3. Peel the whole lime also removing the white skin and then squeeze 1/2 lemon.
  4. Add the lemon zest and the juice of 1/2 lemon to the mixture in the container.
  5. Leave to macerate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 12 hours and serve in glasses using a ladle.
