Ingredients

Metric US
Pork Roast
1 kilogram
dry white wine
20 centiliters
white little onions
24
honey
4 tablespoons
Unsalted butter
30 grams
Salt
1 pinch
  1. Prepare your pork pieces. In a pot brown the flesh on all sides in some melted butter. Season with pepper and salt.
  2. Next add the white wine when cooking. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
  3. You can then add the onions and leave to simmer once more for about 20 minutes.
  4. Once the 20 minutes over, remove onions and pork using a skimmer. Cover the aluminum container and keep warm.
  5. Add honey in a pot and stir. When the honey sauce begins to reduce, add a little white wine at the end of cooking.
  6. You can then start slicing the roast (it's up to you to decide how you're going to cut it, in thin large slices.)
  7. Put onion around your roast pork and cover it with sauce.
  8. Serve hot! You can accompany your roast pork with with spaghetti, risotto, vegetable skewers or a good gratin!
  9. You can also pair the dish with a good Burgundy wine such as Red Santenay or a wine such as Reg Bourgueil! Enjoy
