Ingredients

milk
750 milliliters
Salt
pepper
nutmeg
garlic cloves

potatoes

100 milliliters
milk
100 milliliters
thyme
Unsalted butter
50 grams
  1. Bring the milk to boil in a saucepan with a pinch of salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  2. Cut the garlic into small pieces.
  3. Peel your potatoes and rinse with water.

    Dip your potatoes and garlic in the boiling milk and cook for 20mins.
  4. Using a skimmer remove the potatoes and put in a baking dish.

    Split the potatoes on top for a well cooked heart.
  5. Keep 100cl of milk and filter the rest of the milk to recover the garlic pieces.

    Then add the milk to the cream and pour the mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Arrange the butter pieces on the potatoes and a few sprigs of aromatic herbs.

    Grate cheese on your dish.

    Bake at 180 ° C for 40 minutes.
  7. Regularly drizzle the potatoes with sauce.

    Monitor the cooking and make sure to brown the cheese.

    Serve and taste.
