This meatballs recipe is perfect in a tomato sauce for your pasta dishes. Chicken or pork can be used as an alternative to ground beef.

Ingredients

Metric US
ground beef
800 grams
Eggs
3
sandwich loaf slices
2
Bouquet garni ( thyme, bay leaves and rosemary)
1
garlic clove
1
milk
120 milliliters
Salt
pepper
oil
  1. Pour the milk into a bowl. Crumble the bread and soak in the milk.
  2. Crush the garlic and finely chop the bouquet garni.
  3. In a bowl mix the eggs, the meat, the chopped bouquet garni, the crushed garlic, the salt and the pepper. Drain the bread with your fingers, add to mixture and knead.
  4. Form your meatballs using the palm of your hand.
  5. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the meatballs in the oil, turning them regularly until golden on each side.
