If chocolate truffles are a family delight,  whisky truffles are special adults’ threat with their white coat! We can also replace the whisky with any other alcohol or liquor (rum, Grand Marnier, pear liquor etc… ) and change the amount according to taste.

Ingredients

Metric US
Plain chocolate
400 grams
Butter
100 grams
egg yolk
2 Pinches
Whiskey
2 tablespoons
icing sugar
  1. Melt the chocolate squares in a salad bowl using a water-bath.
  2. Add the butter then the egg yolks one at a time and the whisky.
  3. Leave the chocolate paste to stiff up in the refrigerator.
  4. Roll your chocolate paste in truffles and coat with icing sugar.
