Ingredients

Metric US
green lentils
360 grams
onion
2
garlic clove
5
thyme sprigs

vegetable oil
4 tablespoons
salt and pepper
  1. Wash the lentils then cook them in thrice their volume of water for 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, gently sauté the chopped onions and add the chopped garlic until you have a light-colored mixture.
  3. Once the lentils are cooked, add onions, garlic, thyme and a glass of water and leave to simmer again slowly for 20 minutes after seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. It the mixtures dries up add a little water to obtain a smooth and creamy mixture.
