Ingredients

Metric US
Saucisson à cuire
900 grams
Flour
310 grams
baking powder
1.5 packets
Powdered sugar
1 pinch
Salt
2.5 Pinches
crème fraîche épaisse entière
250 grams
Egg

  1. Prick the sausage with a fork.
  2. Put it in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
  3. Let it cook for 25 mins.
  4. Drain it and leave it to cool.
  5. While the sausage is being cooked, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt and heavy cream
  6. Gradually add the eggs till you obtain a soft dough.
  7. Pour into a greased loaf pan, lay the sausage in the dough. It must be well covered with dough.
  8. Leave the dough to rise for for 1/2 hour and bake at 180° (360° F) for 35 minutes.
  9. Unmold your brioche which can be served hot or cold.
