Madeleines are traditional cakes from Lorraine in France. It is an awesome delicacy on its own but also a real delight with a fruit salad or a dessert.

baking powder
2 teaspoons
Flour
150 grams
Butter
125 grams
lemon zest

  1. Work the eggs and sugar till ribbon stage.
  2. Add yeast, flour, softened butter and lemon peel.
  3. Pour the batter into a madeleine mold and bake at 190°C (370°F) for 15 minutes.
