Ingredients

Metric US
All-purpose flour
140 grams
Egg
1 can
baking powder
2 1/2 teaspoons
white sugar
2 tablespoons
milk
60 milliliters
Softened butter
3 tablespoons
vegetable oil
1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon
  1. Whisk together the all purpose flour, sugar and baking powder. Make a well in the center of your mixture.
  2. In a jug or glass whisk the softened butter, milk, vanilla extract and egg..
  3. Pour your wet ingredients mixture in the flour mixture well. Whisk together.
  4. Heat your pancake pan over medium heat. Grease lightly with vegetable oil.
  5. Ladle 1/4 cup of batter in the pan for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles are formed at the top and bottom is brown. Flip with a spatula and cook for 2-3 more minutes .
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter. Adding vegetable oil in the pan when needed.
