This cocktail was created in 1938 by an American bartender who wanted it to have a colour gradation which looked like sunrise. However it was modified as from 1976 and the sparkling water was replaced by orange juice and blackcurrant cream with grenadine syrup.

Ingredients
- Tequila
- 6 centiliters
- orange juice
- 12 centiliters
- grenadine syrup
- 2 centiliters
- icecube
- 3
- This recipe is made directly in the glass.
- Pour the tequila on some ice cubes, then pour the orange juice and stir well.
- Then slowly pour the grenadine syrup which must sink to the bottom of the glass. Give a little spoon tap to refine the gradient.
- Serve with an orange slice.
