When Christmas is coming and winter is here, we are only looking for one thing: warming our body and hearts! The fireplace, the radiator … and why not enjoy a mulled wine for a delightful relaxation time!

This mulled wine recipe is very simple to make and which will surprise you with its exceptional flavour.

Ingredients

Metric US
red wine
1 liter
Brown sugar
100 grams
oranges
3
Cinnamon sticks
2
star anise
2
clove

  1. Start by washing the oranges and squeeze the juice of two of them. Cut the last orange in little slices. Prefer to choose organic oranges to avoid chemicals.
  2. In a saucepan, pour the wine, the orange juice and the brown sugar. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add crushed cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise.
  4. Leave to simmer for 15 minutes covered.
  5. Serve after filtering the wine. Decorate with oranges slices and sprigs of mint. Enjoy hot!
