Ingredients

Peaches
3 Kilograms
jam sugar
1.25 Kilograms
  1. Peel the peaches, remove the pits and cut peaches in large pieces.
  2. Put the sugar and peaches in a bowl or a Dutch oven.
  3. Heat and leave to boil for 5 minutes while stirring.
  4. Let the mixture to simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. (Setting point: 1 drop of the this mixture placed on a chilled plate must solidify).
  5. Sterilize the jars with hot water and leave them to dry.
  6. Fill the jars with hot jam, Close the lid and turn the jars around to get rid of excess air for better conservation.
