- Peel the peaches, remove the pits and cut peaches in large pieces.
- Put the sugar and peaches in a bowl or a Dutch oven.
- Heat and leave to boil for 5 minutes while stirring.
- Let the mixture to simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. (Setting point: 1 drop of the this mixture placed on a chilled plate must solidify).
- Sterilize the jars with hot water and leave them to dry.
- Fill the jars with hot jam, Close the lid and turn the jars around to get rid of excess air for better conservation.
