Ingredients
- Flour
- 225 grams
- Blond beer
- 7 centiliters
- oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Egg
- 2
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Grated Gruyère cheese
- 100 grams
- cooking oil
- Put the flour in a bowl and gradually add the oil, eggs, salt, pepper and grated nutmeg whilst mixing.
- Gradually add the beer and if the mixture is a little too thick, add a little water.
- When the batter becomes smooth and thick enough, add the grated Gruyère cheese.
- Cover the bowl with a cloth and set aside for at least 1 hour in a warm place.
- Heat the frying oil, then pour in teaspoons of batter and let it brown for about ten minutes, then take it out with a skimmer and let it drain on absorbent paper.
