Here is the recipe for the 1 hard boiled egg for 1 egg!

Season it well with salt, pepper and spices. Enjoy it with traditional bread fingers, butter or grated cheese, and do not forget your egg cup!

  1. Remove the extra-fresh egg from your fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Boil salted water with vinegar in a saucepan. Salt: to accelerate boiling, vinegar to solidify the shell of the egg and coagulate the white in case the shell cracks.
  3. Dip an extra-fresh egg with its shell for 3 to 4 minutes according to your taste in boiling salted water. Remove the egg from the water with a skimmer.
  4. To stop the cooking process run under cold water.
  5. Serve hot in pretty eggs cup. Serve with buttered bread fingers preferably buttered and grilled (small strips of bread sliced). Possibly add cheese.
  6. To taste the egg shell, lightly tap the top of the egg with the back of a spoon and peel (as an alternative: cut the top of the egg with a small knife). Yolk is consumed with an egg spoon or bread fingers which are are soaked in the egg yolk. A delight !
