Ingredients

Metric US
Soft bread slice
10
Butter
Emmental
10 slices
Cooked ham
2 slices
Grated Gruyère cheese
60 grams
  1. Butter the slices of bread.
  2. Preheat oven to 200°.
  3. On each of the 5 slices of bread, place 2 small slices of emmental and a slice of ham.
  4. Cover with the other 5 slices of bread, butter inside.
  5. Parsemer le dessus des croque-monsieur de gruyère râpé et les faire cuire au four durant 12mn.
  6. Leave to cool and then freeze, which will make it easier to cut each croque-monsieur into 9 pieces.
  7. Reheat before serving.
