Ingredients
- milk
- 10 centiliters
- acacia honey
- 150 grams
- Butter
- 30 grams
- Flour
- 200 grams
- Brown sugar
- 30 grams
- ground spice blend (ginger, cinnamon, star anise, clove)
- 1 tablespoon
- ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon
- baking powder
- 1 packet
- Egg
- 1
- Preheat your oven to 180 ° C (350 ° F).
- Start by cutting your butter into pieces.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over low heat with the honey and butter. Once the butter and honey are well blended with the mixture, turn off the heat and let cool.
- In a bowl (or big salad bowl), pour the flour, the brown sugar, the spices and the baking powder. Dig a hole in the middle.
- Add the egg and milk to the small well (previously prepared) and mix vigorously until smooth and homogeneous.
- Pour your gingerbread dough in a previously buttered and floured loaf pan. Bake at 180 ° C for about 45 minutes. Check if it is properly cooked using the the tip of the knife. Enjoy cold or hot for tea or as a dessert.
