Ingredients
- To begin, cut the butter into small pieces and melt in a microwave bowl or in a saucepan over low heat.
- Take a salad bowl and pour in the flour and baking powder. Make a well in the middle of the flour and yeast and add salt, sugar, melted butter and whole eggs. Mix with a wooden spatula and insert the milk as you go. It is even better if you use a hand whisk! Stir thoroughly to avoid lumps. You will know the batter is ready thanks to the texture. Let it stand for an hour.
- Preheat your waffle iron and add some oil to prevent your waffles from sticking. Then pour the waffle batter with a ladle into the waffle iron. Close your device, and let it cook in some minutes. The cooking speed will depend on your waffle maker, of course. Let them cook until they become slightly crisp and colored. Repeat the process until the batter is finished. Do not forget to add oil to the cooking of each waffle.
- In addition, if you want to add some flavor to your waffles, consider adding vanilla extract or orange blossom water in the waffle mixture!
- You can serve your waffles with cocoa or icing sugar, it's up to you! Th real sweet tooth will definitely opt for Nutella or jam!
